|Job Description As Assoc Director U.S. Marketing you will participate as a key member of the EXJADE® (deferasirox) brand team. You will work with other brand team members to provide strategic leadership and tactile actions to successfully drive EXJADE sales growth in current indications and help determine strategy for future indications. You will work closely with global and regional bramd teams so to enable superb tactical implementation of brand promotional & medical education strategies.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development and execution of the strategic business plan, tactical program development & implementation, and ROI assessment. The candidate will have extensive experience and relationships with key stakeholders including external agencies, key thought leaders and other internal/external customers. The candidate will routinely work closely with internal support functions including business analytics/market research, sales training, e-business, health economics and medical communications. Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to budget management, assessment of new opportunities, market development planning.
A business and/or science background is required. An MBA with a focus in marketing or equivalent experience is desirable. Significant marketing expertise, gained through direct product management is essential. Previous hematology experience desirable, but not essential, as is previous experience in pharmaceutical sales.

The ideal candidate should have a thorough knowledge of product management and/or significant experience in either sales, sales management, advertising or marketing research. Individual must possess excellent communication skills including strong presentation skills; excellent project management expertise, the ability to bridge marketing and science and the ability to manage the heavy workload common to a priority brand.
