Field Technician

Job Description
Enbridge Energy Company, Inc., a leader in crude oil and natural gas transportation, gathering and processing, is currently seeking a Field Technician at the Cushing, OK locatin.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the receiving end of the Line 55 (Spearhead) and Line 59 (FSP)pipeline, including the trap, custody transfer metering manifold and other pipeline associated equipment.

Specific Accountabilities:
Maintain safe and reliable operation of the Line 55 (Spearhead) and Line 59 (FSP)pipeline related assets located near Cushing.
Adhere to all applicable company and regulatory standards, policies and procedures.
Maintain Operator Qualification requirements to perform job related tasks.
Perform activities related to the batch pigging operation: receiving and unloading of batch pigs.
Coordination of cleaning and transportation of batch pigs.
Obtaining all information required to complete custody transfer tickets for movements from the Line 55 (Spearhead) and Line 59 (FSP)pipeline to Enbridge’s Cushing Terminal as well as 3rd parties.
Performs measurement and quality checks as required in Book 5 Petroleum Quality and Measurement Manual.
Obtain crude oil samples and report lab analysis as required.
Complete preventative maintenance (PM) as per the PM program and capture those activities in the Maximo database.
Perform DOT inspections and complete the proper documentation.
Responsible for site security
Ensure Regional Objectives are kept in the forefront of day to day operations with Safety and perform-ance of tasks critical to the attainment of goals set forth by Regional Management.
Oversee and/or assist with all projects in areas of responsibility.
Ensure the company assigned truck is kept in a clean and orderly fashion.


Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma.
Technical or Vocational Education preferred
Operations experience very beneficial.
Familiarity with pertinent equipment (motor operated valves, programmable logic controls, and instrumentation).
Must have a valid driver’s license & good driving record.
Oil and Gas industry experience beneficial.
