Gear Process Engineer

Job Description
Established in 1965 Reliance Gear Corporation is a Precision Manufacturer of custom Bevel and parallel axis Gears. We serve a large range of industries from Commercial to Mining, Auto Racing, Defense and Aerospace just to name a few. If it has a Bevel or Parallel Axis Gear in it odds are we’ve made it or can.

Due to a significant increase in business we are currently expanding in Addison, Illinois, and are looking to add an experienced process engineer to our already talented staff, ideally someone with some Gear experience.

We are a build to print shop who also provides customer design support when needed.
As a process engineer you will be responsible for building a process or building upon an existing process using Epicor’s E9 to create a router. The router created will serve as build instructions for each Gear taking it through the entire manufacturing process with step by step instructions (E9) and supported by operation prints created in 2D (AutoCAD) & 3D (Solid Works).
