Maintenance/Water Treatment Manager

Japanese boiler company is seeking a Manager to handle the maintenance and water treatment department in their NJ/NY office. This position will organize and carry out all water treatment sales and service activities. Promote all aspects of water treatment products and services available as part of daily sales activities. Will develop close relationships with consulting engineers, mechanical contractors, and end users where our products and services may be implemented to protect and treat their boilers. Will perform and monitor water treatment program to ensure all company boilers for contracted customers are working within recommended factory requirements. Will develop and maintain customer and prospect relationships through regular personal sales calls. Follows up through personal contact with all potential leads received/identified. Will plan effective call pattern for the assigned territory. Will identify and quote to the customers based on their requirements for water treatment chemicals and equipment. Will prepare quotations for approval by Branch Manager for potential sales. Provide service for existing customers. Will identify concerns and work with end users to rectify problems. Will prepare and plan all maintenance service calls and inspections. Will oversee other maintenance staff to increase productivity and efficiency. Will also work with customers to promote service agreement contracts.

Position requires 5 to 10 years hands-on experience in the boiler industry or boiler water treatment business. This position will be in charge of all maintenance and water treatment related tasks in the NJ territory.
