We are currently seeking an Operations Superintendent for our Louisville, OH, facility. This positions reports to the plant manager.
Position responsibilities include:
Leading a represented workforce in day-to-day shop floor activities, as well as, interacting with all levels of management on a wide range of business issues.
Leading continuous improvement efforts and all aspects of lean manufacturing, including Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Total Productivity Maintenance (TPM).
Using Operating Equipment Efficiency (OEE) driven reports, 5S, Daily Management Boards and Kaizen activities to drive continuous improvement.
Maintaining plant quality systems and performance standards such as ISO 9011 and other customer/industry specific certifications.
Bachelorís degree in Business, Engineering, or Operations Management
Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills
Proficiency with computer systems
Flexible in terms of work hours
An MBA is a plus. Experience in annealing, pickling, waste water treatment and continuous processing in a 24 x 7 operation is preferred as is experience in a union environment.
Experience using Operating Equipment Efficiency (OEE) driven reports, 5S, Daily Management Boards and Kaizen activities to drive continuous improvement is a plus.
