Diversified Search, a top ten global retained executive search firm, has been engaged to find a Product Manager for a Large Multi-National Industrial Products Company. With home offices on two continents, 38 U.S. rental branches, and a network of more than 400 distributor locations worldwide, our client maintains a fleet of 6,000 portable pumps and 3,200 pieces of related equipment for use in construction dewatering, mining, drinking water supply and water/wastewater bypasses. The company manufactures, rents and sells all their products. This $300M+ company has been growing at an accelerated pace.
Our client is part of a multi-billion dollar global industrial conglomerate corporation. Reporting to the VP, Marketing & Business Development, the Product Manager, is responsible for product and market planning for self-priming pumps worldwide. In a matrix relation with the sales organization, the individual drives profitable business growth in identified markets and segments. This includes managing product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements and working closely with engineering to deliver winning products.
The Product Manager recommends marketing channels, executes Marketing and Sales initiatives and works with Sales and Distributors to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Managerís job also includes making sure the product and marketing efforts support the long term vision, strategies and objectives of the company.
Specifically, we seek candidates with the following qualities/characteristics:
5+ years of marketing or product management experience in construction, civil engineering or equipment sales/rental;
International business experience is required, language skills desirable
Demonstrated success in product launches and end-to end development and execution of marketing strategies;
Excellent team work skills with ability to thrive in a matrix management environment
