We manufacture and provide high-quality natural and synthetic graphite and carbon products and services. Our corporate headquarters located in Parma, Ohio has an immediate opening for Product Managers. The primary function of this position will be to manage products through their lifecycle from inception to decline with emphasis on validation efforts in the growth period and cost initiatives during maturity period of the lifecycle.
Responsibilities will include:
Manage overall product lifecycle from inception to decline with a focus on profitable growth and maturity of product plans.
Deliver validation and commercialization of newly developed products.
Define and manages product line strategies to contribute to portfolio health across other product lines within the business.
Coordinate with R&D and Applications Engineering to validate and commercialize new products. Works across Marketing and Sales, Supply Chain and Operations organizations for improving effectiveness of the product line.
Define and communicate Business Case, Product/Project Definitions and Product line assessments, including competitive evaluation.
Analyze the financial, technological and other trends affecting the present and future needs of the product line.
Communicates information across functional teams
Represents Company at various industry, community or client business meetings to promote company.
The successful candidate will have a history in material science and product management background, with an MBA preferred. Experience in powder metallurgy or ceramics is a plus.
