The qualified candidate will act as the responsible Product Manager for the marketing and sales of the Power Tube Product line.
Set objectives, develop marketing strategy, and maintain a successful marketing program for division products or product lines.
Identify prospective customers and coordinate lead generation.
Research customer needs and recommend the development of new products.
Make pricing determinations, issue quotations, and negotiate pricing and customer requirements as necessary.
Review purchase orders and oversee entry into the business system.
Responsible for all divisional direct Government bids, commercial bids and repair bids.
Prepare long-term forecasts of order receipts and delivery requirements.
Identify market trends and advise of required technology enhancements required to participate in future microwave opportunities.
Analyze and maintain complete competitive information and market intelligence for product lines.
Support customer visits. Travel required approximately 8 weeks per year.
Act as liaison between the customer and the factory.
Perform Program Management for complex development projects.
Lead the product line in strategic planning for future growth.
Prepare and present monthly planning documents for the management team.
Must hold a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business.
Must have a minimum of five years related Marketing experience.
Knowledge of microwave markets and customers.
Knowledge of microwave applications and systems.
Must be capable of understanding CPI's technology and its applications to military system level requirements.
Must be an effective communicator and be able to work independently at a high level of responsibility.
Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain/maintain a D.O.D. secret security clearance.
